Ever since I remember myself in my childhood, I had a Pentax camera that my father bought me as a Bar-Mitzvah gift. In this early stage of my life in the late 50s’, I discovered the miracle of freezing the moment in reality into a printed proof. I continued with my hobby as years were passing, replacing the equipment’ camera and lenses and could not stop photographing.
This hobby became part of my life and was filling me with a great energy, enjoyment, and satisfaction from the results.
Being involved in my career in the mechanical parts of military equipment in the Israel Aircraft Industry and the private industry, I was also amazed by the mechanism of the photographing equipment that rapidly moved from the fully mechanical design to the electronic assisted devices.
I am excited to plan the photography session, to click and take the shots, and of course to watch the results, study the mistakes and keep a constant improvement in my personal method.
During the years I’ve studied movie photography and many courses of stills and photo editing. Despite the fact that photography was my first love in my spare time, it never became a commercial occupation.
I had a lab at home for developing black and white photographs for the benefit of my family or friends, but the digital progress opened new horizons and capabilities and I still spend full nights for improving the results of my photography.
The start of the photography career was with special admiration and attention to artistic human nudity and portraits. In the last few years I was exposed to the beauty and attraction of nature photography that demands endless patience and extended photography sessions.
